hillary and braxton's wedding

A couple weekends ago I was able to fly to Utah and be there for my cousin Hillary's wedding! (A big thanks to my parents for paying for some of my flight!!) After missing my early flight and waiting for the later one, a long layover in Atlanta, a flight to SLC with a ton of returning missionaries, I finally made it to Salt Lake. It was so great seeing my family! We stopped by to visit my cousins house in Bountiful, Utah. They always like to bring out their pet lizards to show us.. haha Rachel was brave enough to hold them! Me... not so much...

My whole family was there on my mom's side so it was really special to get to see all my cousins that I grew up with! (We missed you Melissa, Byron, and Randall!!) I was very blessed to be able to be there!

  Me, Jennie and Bailey (:
Uncle Jason showing everyone how to long board haha

The happy couple (: Finally married!! (Picture overload begins...)
 Hillary's little niece Ellie (:
Photo credit goes to Frankie for the rest. My camera battery died as soon as I got to Utah so thank goodness for iPhones!!
The Grandmas!
Reception!
This is the first thing I see when I walk in. So classic.
Haha poor Ellie. Doesn't know what is going on and who she is taking a picture with.
I am so glad I got to spend the weekend with my crazy family! The wedding was beautiful and it was wonderful to be able to be a part of that. Love you Hillary and Braxton and I wish all the best in your new journey together! Enjoy every minute of it. (:

fourth of july

Happy Fourth of July!! Of course I had to show some of my Texas pride as well!!
This year was fantastic!! It started with Rob and I making our American flag t-shirts the night before; matching of course (; And I just have to say that Robbie is the best husband for doing this with a smile (:

The next day, we headed down to Muskegon, which is where they have been selling for the last week or two and decided to hang out all day on the beach! Yes, they do have beaches in Michigan, strange, I know. The beach is from Lake Michigan and it was just like a normal beach except it was fresh water and no seaweed! Two major pluses for me (:
 I was so patriotic!
Just having some fun burying Kristin!
 Boys... haha
I have yet to figure out why on Earth Nick would pick up a clump of unknown hair and use it as a fake mustache...
 Jumping pictures!

Everyone was super jealous of our shirts (; Of course, Rob being the entrepreneur that he is, suggested we could make a bunch for next year and sell em for like $10-15 each. Always thinking of ideas to make money (: haha
Oh just Rob modeling his sick shirt he made. He's such a crafter!!
It ended with us watching fireworks with everyone. We didn't have the best seats but at least we got to see them! It was a great holiday but it doesn't beat spending it with our families. We missed y'all!

we like mini golfing. not a big deal.

On Saturdays, the guys go out earlier to work so the past couple of weeks they have been retiring an hour or two early and our office goes out to dinner. Last week, instead of going out to eat with everyone, Rob decided he just wanted to spend some time with me and go on a date! (: So we went mini-golfing of course! And it was so much fun! (As are all my dates with Robbie [: )

We went to this place in Grand Rapids called Craig's Cruisers. It had the cutest little scenery and mini buildings on their mini-golf courses. I loved them!

Robbie is such a pro at mini-golf. I seriously don't know how he is so good. He must be cheating somehow... haha

Needless to say, he beat me... Sort of like how he always does... haha

So since he beat me in golf, I made him play me in something I was quite confident I could win at: an old DDR game! haha although I was way rusty and he claims one of his arrows was broken, I still came out on top! Barely... hahah

One of Robbie's favorite tv shows in arcade game form.

It was a great evening with my sweet husband. He is the best! (:
